  • Abstract:  We review the Radeon HD 3850 and 3870 and other mainstream cards using 9 games and 6 resolutions, with a big section on Direct3D 10.1, a new feature of the HD 3000.

  • The new Radeon HD 3870 performed much like a Radeon HD 2900 XT. The two cards generally traded victories over each other depending on the game and resolution being tested. Due to its smaller frame buffer and lower clock speeds, the Radeon HD 3850s ...

  • The ATI Radeon HD 3800 series fills the $150 to $250 price gap and offers better performance per watt than the previous generation Radeon HD 2XXX series. ...

  • AMD has made tremendous strides with this generation of GPUs. The Radeon HD 3870 delivers almost exactly the same performance as the Radeon HD 2900 XT, yet the chip is under half the size and brings an astounding near-100W reduction in power use while ...

  • Low power utilization, UVD video decoder, and 3D performance that no card in the sub-$200 price segment even comes close to.
  • 256MB of memory can be limiting in some situations: DX10 performance isnt quite good enough to make that a good long-term option.
  • Far and away the best card you can buy for less than $200. To do better, you have to spend considerably more....

  • Abstract:  Admittedly, the GeForce 8800GT is a faster product overall but it also commands a bit more of a premium price. NVIDIA initially targeted it at $249 dollars but demand for it meant retailers were getting between $280-$300 for them. So that allows AMD to...

  • Unmatched 3D performance in its price range; supports PCI Express 2.0 and DirectX 10.1; quiet; low power usage; top-notch video quality; HDMI adapter included
  • 3D performance slows significantly at higher resolutions; some glitches when running in CrossFire mode; CrossFire disables extra monitors
  • If 3D performance matters and youre on a tight budget, buy the ATI Radeon HD 3850 graphics card....

  • Bon rapport performances prix, Silencieuse, Décompression HD excellente, Dissipateur simple emplacement
