An OK effort for an Arkham game, Batman Arkham Origins feels too similar to Arkham City and there are a few game breaking bugs that prevent it from being worthy to stand with the other two....
This is simply another Batman game. Arkham City took Asylum and added the open world. Origins attempts to tell the story of Batman's beginnings, but all it does is try to build on the success of previous games with little effort....
Batman: Arkham Origins is a strong effort from a now regular franchise. The story works well, the mechanics feel as fluid as ever and the value of the package is tremendous....
Still a pretty good Batman game, Troy Baker delivers an incredible performance as The Joker.
Same as the last few Batman games, Angry Bruce Wayne comes off as silly
Arkham Origins is a tired retread of the previous Arkham games with the same characters, the same city, the same basic plot, the same combat, the same gadgets, the same puzzles....

Batman: Arkham Origin is not a bad game, it still is and plays like an Arkham title. It has pretty much the same gameplay mechanics, the same free-flowing combat system, which allows Batman to electrocute people, jump fifteen feet from one end of the room...
If you're a Batman fan you should already have Batman: Arkham Origins, but anyone else might want to hold off a couple of weeks for some patches to come through. Even with the bugs though I enjoyed the game all the way through for the 15-20 hours it took...
