  • New multiplayer options add value, great weapon creation system, intriguing storyline, vastly improved survivor AI.
  • Loading times, hard to beat psychos, occasionally vague time management.

  • Abstract:  Let's just say we're very glad the dead have risen again. Pretty much ecstatic, in fact. The satisfying balance Dead Rising 2 manages to strike with its difficulty curve, the constant tension the game evokes, the inventive weapons and the smartly deli...

  • Abstract:  Published September 29th 2010. Written by Gloria Preston. The zombie outbreak at Willamette changed the world, the military’s handling of it didn’t help either, they should have cut their losses and nuked the place, but they didn’t, and the contagion s...

  • Fans of the original will love the similarities and improvements while those that weren’t convinced before will find even more that frustrates. Not that much has changed, and a whole new set of problems makes Dead Rising 2 incredibly disappointing and ...

  • So much fun
  • Lacks save points and boss battles introduce difficulty spikes that might deter casual gamers
  • Dead Rising 2 is a fine sequel, supercharging the absurd, experimental zombie-slaying that made the original so much fun, and doing something about the issues that made Dead Rising so spectacularly frustrating...

  • It's still a tense experience, but now also more forgiving, The combo weapon system is hilarious and addictive, Mulching zombies never, ever gets dull
  • The boss fights are inexcusable, The presentation is a bit lastgen in places, One or two autosaves wouldn't have been uncharitable
