  • Love-it-or-hate-it design. Excellent sound detail both top and bottom. Works with D-cell batteries for trendy picnics.
  • Love-it-or-hate-it design. Controls are ergonomically awkward. Remote feels cheap.
  • When it comes to pure audio, this is a great unit. Which makes it a shame that it doesnt have a more pure design. Some buyers will love it and it will suit their minimalist loft apartment to a tee. Others will walk into the room and think &quo...

  • Abstract:  For those of us that have strong memories of untangling speaker cables, Bluetooth speakers can seem like witchcraft. Plonk a pill-shaped box on your shelf, or hang it up in the kitchen, then zap your music to it with nothing more than a few swipes. No kno...

  • Sound quality is excellent, Good looks, Great build quality
  • Bluetooth only, No Airplay, Spotify Connect or Google Cast, Quite bulky for a "portable" speaker
  • It's hard to ignore the Go + Play's lack of features, especially when it seems that every other new speaker coming out right now offers some kind of Wi-Fi connectivity or multi-room playback. But the Go + Play does have its strengths. It's also heavy, a bi...

  • Open and warm presentation, Loads of bass, Detailed and dynamic,
  • May not suit those who crave delicacy and agility,
  • We enjoyed this speaker's predecessor enough to give it four stars, and you can tell the latest Go + Play is a product of the same gene pool. But this generation has added the finesse that was once lacking, making it an even better proposition. If you want...

  • Great portability for a large speaker, big and bold sound, powerful low-end, distinctive look, very portable for a large speaker
  • Unsophisticated bass, no Wi-Fi or multi-room features
  • Those with picky ears can poke holes in the Harman Kardon Go + Play, but it is one of the few new, sub-£250 wireless speakers to offer both the clout of a main lounge speaker and real portability. Despite being woefully lacking in the supplementary...

  • Great audio; easy setup; chic styling; great carry handle
  • Lacks AirPlay; old-fashioned battery compartment; overly large
  • The Harman Kardon Go+Play is a great speaker system. It offers high quality audio, easy wireless connectivity, and great volume and bass. The lack of a rechargeable battery or AirPlay sits against it (although we'd take Bluetooth over AirPlay these days)...

  • Practical, well designed, Video and PC connections, Lower frequencies clear and powerful
  • Not enough settings and functions, Higher frequencies struggle, Why no internal battery?, Disappointing remote control
  • We were expecting great things from this Harman/Kardon high-end dock. Unfortunately, just like JBL docks (a brand belonging to the same parent company), the Go+Play seems to be full of potential but doesn't quite make the grade....

  • Attractive looks, fine build and finish, spacious, dynamic and full-blooded sound
  • Low frequencies sound at odds with the rest of the music, needs eight batteries to be portable
  • A superior portable solution, with bass that can be heard across a Glastonbury field ...

  • Excellent sound, unique design, loads of features; high-end product that’s lightweight
  • Pointless remote hard to comprehend, remote useless as you can’t see what’s on the iPod, high-end price
  • This device competes at the highest level, and is well worth the relatively high price. It’s a top-class solution from audio experts, who’ve combined eye-catching design with top-notch sound technology to create a system that delivers excellen...
