The editors didn't like

  • 附加功能较少,例如没有AES256位硬件加密,或者软件加速(例如三星Rapid模式)等;
  • 固件长期稳定性、后续升级维护等各方面未经过足够时间考验;

  • HyperX Savage

  • Very fast sequential-read and -write speeds, Distinctive outer shell, Upgrade-kit version available with adapters, software, and external drive enclosure
  • Disappointing speeds with small files, Costly per gigabyte, especially at higher capacities
  • Kingston's latest high-end SATA SSD is the fastest of its kind we've seen on some benchmark tests, and one of the best-looking SSDs, period. Our only quibbles: the small-file write performance, and the cost per gigabyte. Read More…...

  • Abstract:  It's been quite some time since our last SSD roundup and we hadn't seen much need for one until recently. SSD technology grew stale after saturating the SATA 6Gb/s bus, bringing mostly minor improvements in recent memory and making up for it with price cu...

  • The HyperX Savage SSD ($122) is a tough review. The drive excels in a few critical aspects and, for the first time in Kingston's consumer SSD history, manages to offer fairly level read and write performance across most IO types. Level performance isn't i...
