  • Abstract:  One of my favourite games on the Nintendo 64, Pilotwings 64 conveyed a sublime and relaxing sense of flying that, in my view, has never since been equaled. With its reappearance and shift to the ‘Wuhu Island’ gaming space that features in Wii Spor...

  • Abstract:  The original Pilotwings game was released on the SNES over 20-years ago and Pilotwings 64 is still one of the most fondly remembered games of the N64. So what better way to celebrate the launch of a new console then release its latest predecessor for ...

  • Abstract:  Pilotwings, originally released twenty-and-a-bit years ago on the Super Nintendo, challenged players to fly a variety of aircraft through a number of challenging situations, most of which involved little rings or targets in the sky. Compared to other t...

  • Beautiful looking with a good use of 3D when you need it, slick controls, charming sound effects and solid UI design.
  • No multiplayer, nothing too original and a little unbalanced in terms of difficulty.

  • Tight flight controls make for great gameplay, Simple and fun objectives make for an addictive title, Lush graphics
  • Doesn't make much of an effort to push the 3D capabilities, No great rewards for excelling at the mini-games

  • Plenty for fans to get into, a reasonable showcase of analogue control on the 3DS
  • Price, not enough depth, 3D is hard on the eyes
  • There really is a lot to love about the new Pilot Wings - particularly for fans of the previous titles - and anyone with an urge to play a more chilled-out, fun-loving game will find this a good first title for their new machine. All the same, there’s ...

  • But for everyone else, Resort offers a briefly satisfying jaunt, which only fleetingly manages to recapture the magic of its predecessors. 6.5/10Print this pageComments (0)Share this pageNoticed something wrong? Report error/mistake....

  • Skillbased aerial challenges, Mission sizes are perfect for portable gaming, Free Flight adds tons of hidden collectibles
  • Possible to blast through in 24 hours, 3D doesn't enhance or help gameplay, Only one map, Wii Sports' Wuhu Island

  • Prachtige graphics,  Gebalanceerde gameplay
