  • At modest lens focal length settings and at ISO speeds of 200 or less the image quality is outstanding. Exposure and white balance are impressive. Lens sharpness and image resolution are generally good. We like the consistency of results, particularly ...

  • Well built, very good picture quality, excellent manual focus, useful and fun filters
  • No HDMI, noticeable noise in photos at high ISO speeds, can be difficult to use in bright sunlight
  • Ricoh's CX3 isn't much of an upgrade over the CX2 but it does offer HD video recording, which makes it a useful hybrid for people wishing to shoot stills and video with the same camera. Its pictures are a little noisy and it can struggle in bright light...

  • Abstract:  Although the latest addition to Ricoh's popular CX series of slimline digicams, the CX3, retains the overall styling and 10.7x optical wide-angle zoom lens from its predecessor, it has some new additions to improve imaging performance. Most noteworthy ...

  • The lens isn’t as sharp as on other compact ultra-zoom cameras, and the high price means it's not particularly good value, either. ...

  • The Ricoh CX3 is a likeable point-and-shoot pocket camera, which is also a great all-round performer. It'll be good as a DSLR backup or as a primary camera ...
