  • Titan Switches, AIMO Lighting
  • Wrist-rest, Expensive
  • The Roccat Vulcan 120 AIMO far from compact but when you factor in the snappy Titan key-switches and organic illumination tech, any shortcomings are easily overshadowed...

  • After smashing out a variety of games on the Roccat Vulcan Aimo, we found this gaming keyboard a treat to use courtesy of its tactile feedback that not only gives you a smooth responsiveness to your key presses but it also looks the part thanks to its de...

  • There are still improvements Roccat could make going forward, but the Titan switch and accompanying half-height keycaps are the Vulcan 120 Aimo's primary experiment, and that aspect is a resounding success. As I said, this is the first time the Cherry-sty...

  • Abstract:  Sometimes, I think the hardest thing to do in life is to admit you are wrong. Last week, before my colleague Jonathan Kwan and I set off on a road trip with a few of our friends, we were discussing plans as to how we would meet up before we leave. At firs...

  • Titan Switches, AIMO Lighting
  • Wrist-rest, Expensive
  • After a few weeks of regular use, I'm pretty sold on Roccat's Titan switches. It doesn't feel quite as snappy or premium to use as Razer's opto-mechanical Huntsman, and it certainly isn't as fun to use as the X-BOW is. Regardless, Roccat's Vulcan 120 migh...

  • Low-profile keycaps, Sturdy build quality, Dedicated media keys
  • Hard plastic wristrest, No dedicated macro keys, Lacks USB pass-through
  • All of which makes the Vulcan 120 Aimo pretty decent value. It's only £6 more than the regular-size HyperX keyboard and £25 cheaper than its main rival from Corsair and, for that money, you're getting a keyboard that both performs well and looks fantastic...

  • Stunning design and an abundance of quality RGB-ness, Comfortable typing experience after you get used to the low wrist rest, Very useful gaming features
  • Some users will be unhappy with the amount of light-bleed, Low-profile wrist rest could prove to be uncomfortable at the start
  • Using the Vulcan 120 for the past few weeks have certainly been interesting. The low-profile design might be familiar to some of you, but with full-sized switches placed on top of the backplate it's more the illusion of being low profile with the keys bei...

  • Roccat's Titan switches are superb, Anodised aluminium finish is lush, Very bright Aimo lighting engine, Excellent supporting Swarm software
  • No auxiliary ports, Hard wrist rest
  • Simply put, the Roccat Vulcan 120 AIMO is one of the absolute best gaming keyboards on the market today.Overall, then, I hope it is easy to see from this Roccat Vulcan 120 Aimo review that this truly is a top-tier, premium gaming keyboard. On test I have b...

  • Interesting low-profile design and exposed stems, Attractive brushed anodized aluminum plate, Dedicated media keys
  • Wrist rest is a pointless afterthought, Switches feel like an unexceptional hybrid, No passthroughs or dedicated macro keys
  • A middling keyboard hampered by some missteps that doesn't excel in any one area enough to compensate...
