Mini is very portable, Glo has a very even front-light, Great battery life
Books tend to be more expensive and not available as early as Kindle / Nook versions, Mini version does not have a microSD card and requires a desktop app to copy books, No 3G capability

Compact design, Large e-book selection, Unique Reading Life Stats
Tiny screen doesn't fit much text on the page, E-books more expensive than competition, Can't share book passages or lend books, Very small periodical selection
The Kobo Mini's 5-inch display gives e-reader fans a portable and affordable option, but the reading experience feels cramped compared with the competition....
More pocketable than 6-inch e-readers like Amazon Kindle, Touch display, Sturdy and easy to hold, Superb font controls, Supports ePub, Incorporates reading metrics and awards
No audio features, screen lighting, or SD-card slot, Tapping near display margins is difficult, Small display means more page turns, Not much cheaper than some 6-inch readers
Enchantingly petite at first glance and grip, the Kobo Mini the cheapest ticket to Kobo's content ecosystem. But its main selling point—its small display—may be its biggest hurdle. ...

The Kobo Mini is a modestly priced, very compact Wi-Fi-enabled e-ink e-reader with a 5-inch touch screen. It supports EPUB files, it's compatible with any e-book store that uses the Adobe DRM format, and with Wi-Fi off it gets up to a month's worth of bat
Ideally, the device would be even smaller and thinner. Also, Kobo's selection of e-books lags behind Amazon's and Barnes & Noble's. Loading library loaners and third-party e-book purchases requires tethering to a PC
The affordable Kobo Mini is a likable touch-screen e-ink e-reader that's too small for some and not quite small enough for others.
Light and comfortable, Size is good for small hands, Lots of control over text inside eBooks, Touch-controlled and easy to use, Access to eBook sources beyond Kobo's store
E Ink screen doesn't offer as much contrast as the competition, Could use faster performance
The $80 Kobo Mini comes with a budget price tag yet doesn't come off as cheap. Yes, to get to that price point there are sacrifices in quality — you won't get the crispest screen or the fastest performance. But this is not a crappy dollar store eReader,...

A great price for an eBook reader. Small and portable. WiFi enabled and touchscreen on a budget. Crisp display with easy to read clean type, The
Sluggish page turns can make reading a frustrating experience. Screen size allows for less words and hampers a quick reader. Touch controls a little frustrating as have to be very precise. No expandable memory
So Far The reading experience on the Kobo Mini is similar to that of a large cellphone or if you have the Galaxy Note, exactly the same (sizewise at least). Despite this, I do enjoy reading more longform pieces on an e-Ink screen as it does feel more...

Small, light and pocket sized
Touchscreen not as responsive as we'd like, contrast could be better
Inexpensive for a touch screen ebook reader. Small, cute form factor. Powerful ecosystem of books, mobile, and PC apps. Supports ePub format.
Sluggish. Slightly stubborn touch screen. Display is noticeably smaller than that of a paperback book. No memory card slot
With its 5-inch touch screen, the Kobo Mini caters to an underserved market: Those who want a tiny, dedicated ebook reader. Unfortunately, it also underperforms....

Inexpensive, Notably small and lightweight, Intuitive UI
Limited screen space, No expandable storage, Low-contrast display
The Kobo Mini is lightweight and temptingly priced, but that smaller form factor also comes with some trade-offs....
