Excellent color. Strong contrast. Lots of connected features.
Black levels could be better
Samsung's F5500 LED HDTVs deliver a picture with excellent colors and strong contrast along with plenty of online features, all for a very reasonable price....

The Samsung E5500 plasma TV offers a very attractive mix of features, performance, and design for the right price; black levels are very good for the money; Smart TV and a usable Web browser are unexpected bonuses; 51-inch version is relatively energy eff
Picture quality deteriorates quickly as room lighting brightens, relatively inaccurate color of red, poor sound quality
The Samsung F5500 plasma offers great features and very good picture quality, but its performance suffers significantly under the lights.
Abstract: The UN32F5500 is the smallest entry into the F5500 series in Samsung's 2013/2014 LED TV lineup. It bears a close resemblance to the ES5300 series from last year. This one goes without any of the top tier picture features in favor of Samsung's Smart TV platform. It is a nice choice for those not interest...

Good value for Smart TV, Good picture quality for the money, All the key UK catchup channels are supported
Black levels could be better, Flimsy build quality, Some unhelpful presets
Samsung has delivered another high-value proposition with the UE42F5500. It's the cheapest way of getting Samsung's current Smart TV platform on a decent-sized screen, and it performs nicely overall.Next, read more TV reviews or check our pick of the best...
Abstract: We’ve also got a huge super-sized TV face-off this week, and Samsung’s 60-inch PS60F5500 is the first in our round-up. It comes packing voice control, 3D powers and a 60Hz refresh rate, but is that enough to take the top spot in our round-up? Find out ...
Abstract: Samsung is famous for its high-end TVs (anyone for a curved OLED?) but, as the PS51F5500 shows, isn't afraid to get its hands dirty at the budget end of the market. For a good chunk less than £1,000, this plasma gives you a helluva lot – 51 inches of scre...
A great-value TV currently going for a very low price, Samsung's UE42F5500 makes a fine choice for a living room. Motion blur is a serious issue when it comes to picture quality, granted, but there's few other issues. It's the appearance of the Smart Hub...
