Abstract: With a height of less than two inches, Samsung’s svelte BD-C6900 is a well-featured Blu-ray player, and is the company’s first to provide 3D Blu-ray disc playback. Among other features (of which there are many), the player provides relatively quick ...

No glasses included (though you can get 2 pairs with purchase of TV and player), One of the audibly noisier players I've tried, The quality of traditional 2D content could be better
Samsung has made good on their promise to deliver a true Hollywood 3D experience in the home theater, bringing with this breakthrough a host of refinements to an all-around respectable player. Those eager to be the first on their block with Blu-ray 3D...

The BDC6900 uses HDMI 1.3, not 1.4. HDMI 1.3 will support 3D playback, but it only supports transmission of a 1080i signal for each eye. HDMI v1.4 can support 1080p for each eye. [UPDATE 4/29/10: This is incorrect. A Samsung product manager confirms that the BDC6900 does have an HDMI 1.4 output.], This player lacks an advanced control port like RS232.
Obviously, 3D capability is the BD-C6900's marquee feature and will ultimately dictate whether or not you purchase this player. Sure, it's loaded with other worthwhile Blu-ray features--like multichannel outputs, built-in WiFi, DLNA media streaming, an...

Abstract: I subscribe to the theory that any disc player worth owning should have the demeanour of a battleship built by a Scottish shipyard. Rigidity foreshadows integrity, and tells me that a manufacturer takes the player as seriously as I take my media. So Sa...
