The BD-C6900 is a mightily impressive piece of kit for its price tag. It loads up discs rapidly, delivers a beautifully clean, vibrant image from both 2D and 3D Blu-ray discs and features 7.1 analogue surround sound output, allowing watchers of 3D films to also experience lossless surround sound rather than having to downgrade to Dolby Digital or DTS. The player can exhibit the odd bit of crosstalk during 3D playback, causing objects to ghost – but this is more an issue with the 3D TV it’s hooked up to, and we can’t really count it as a weakness for the BD-C6900.
